Soyfood Technology and Nutrition Resource

NSRL staffLocated at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, the National Soybean Research Laboratory (NSRL) is our soybean research and measurement resource. The NSRL is housed in the National Soybean Research Center, a building contructed and equipped with federal and state funds. Although its programs are supported by the industry, state and federal dollars - as well as gifts and grants - the NSRL has provided leadership in developing many World Soy Foundation programs in several countries.

The NSRL supports research and outreach programs covering the entire soybean chain - from production to utilization. In addition, the International Soybean Program, which is part of the Laboratory's services, is dedicated to promoting consumption of soyfoods in developing countries. The NSRL also provides technical support in the areas of food technology, micro-enterprise development, consumer education, policy formulation and program evaluation.
