ASA Board Members Join World Soy Foundation Acre Challenge
December 18, 2008...Source: ASA Leader Letter...American Soybean Association (ASA) Board members have joined the World Soy Foundation’s (WSF) Acre challenge with 18 acres pledged and counting.
At the Dec. 11, ASA Board General Session, ASA Board member Scott Fritz reported on WSF’s 2009 fundraising efforts. Fritz challenged fellow Board members to join him and other farmer members of the WSF Board in donating the proceeds of at least one acre of soybeans to the Foundation. By the end of the day, 14 ASA Board members had pledged a total of 18 acres. Additional acres have also come in from farmer leaders in Iowa and North Dakota.
